I am a product designer based in Frankfurt, Germany, with a background in pedagogy, event organization and illustration.

I was always fascinated with the way that people used technology in their day to day lives. During the pandemic, I worked in an elementary school as a theater teacher and was confronted by endless Google meet sessions with my students.

This was when I started asking myself questions about how children used and experienced technology. This became my gateway to UX/UI design.

I am also a graphic designer and illustrator with many years of experience in various freelance projects using the Adobe Creative Suite as well as traditional mediums, such as watercolor and ink. I have extensive experience in event branding and illustrating for print, such as book and album covers. I have had a lifelong passion for putting the images I have in my head onto paper.

When I am not designing…

I love traveling and experiencing new, unfamiliar cultures and food. I am constantly on the search for the most beautiful secluded spots to park my expedition truck. I love thinking about designing for children and am constantly on the search for literature on how to better serve our growing population. I also love reading, drawing and playing video games.

What people are saying about me…

“What makes Mary stand out as a designer is her ability to communicate and apply her UX process to the given resource and timeline while not compromising on understanding what users need. She can also weave a story out of her research, drawing stakeholders into her decisions with engaging and clear presentations.”

Caitlan Louise
UX/UI Instructor, Memorisely

"Working with Mary is something to look forward to always! Her energy, positivity, and ability to execute on an idea makes her a joy and a huge asset to any team. Her skilled user empathy and creative brainstorming seek out clean solutions with a little bit of magic."

Carmen Miller

"Mary has been great to work with. Whilst working together, she displayed creative problem-solving as well as a keen eye for sharp and elegant design. Her energy is unmatched, I can't recommend working with her enough!"

Ethan Delgado

"Working with Mary was very uncomplicated, professional and close. She has a really good sense of communication and stays in close contact with her customers to fulfill all their wishes…. I love her individual style and the passion with which she works. Mary has a very good eye for small details. If you want something special, made with pure love, I can only recommend Mary!"
